Our vision is to see the gospel saturate the neighborhoods around White Rock Lake. In order to do that, we want to plant neighborhood churches who are positioned to care for the physical and spiritual needs of their communities. These churches will operate independently from each other, but will be united in community, vision and doctrine.
Randy Thompson joined our staff as our Church Planter in Residence this past summer. Randy will be with us at White Rock as he prepares to launch the church plant in mid-2018. If you would like to download an overview of where we are in the church plant, click here (4.6 MB). Here are some ways that you can support our church planting effort:
Pray – Join us in praying that God would lead us in every way: securing a location, raising up people to go with the church plant, providing resources and more.
Connect – If you are interested in helping get the new church established or going to be a part of the new church, contact Randy Thompson at RThompson@WhiteRock.org. We also have a church plant community group. For more information about the group, or to join, click here.
Give – You can give financially to the new church by giving to the White Rock Fellowship Church Planting Fund. Click here to give online and choose “Church Planting Fund” to designate your gift for the new church.
