Julia hails from the west Texas town of El Paso where the abundance of authentic and delicious Mexican food kept her there for 21 years. In 2007, she married her best friend Gabe and a year later they ventured to Dallas and haven’t left since. Julia graduated from the University of North Texas in 2013 with a B.A. in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology. A football fan by marriage, Julia roots for the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the New England Patriots. In her spare time, she volunteers as an advocate with Dallas CASA and also enjoys cooking, baking, reading, and crocheting.
Julia is a lover of people and she is passionate about community and serving others. After personally experiencing God’s restoration and redemption, her desire is for others to know that they matter and that they are worth more. But most of all, to know the unconditional love of Christ.
